gratitude list in no particular order

• my puppy pandele. she has it in her little heart to bark to protect me. as if i've always done the overt protecting.

• curiosity that still makes me read, watch movies, dabble in the arts. it fills my solitude with wonders.

• that i  can still listen to other people's stories when they open up to me.

• the future.

• my son, family, america, my home, medicine that erases my memory.

• lovely colours. turquoise, sunny yellow, purple.

• rosamunda, my shy and fascinating gray tabby. her walk a lingering ballet.

• candles, lazy susans, shelves, wind chimes made of shells, fridge magnets, peacock feathers, cloth shower curtains.

• cowboy boots, songs, wood planks, ocean swims, bountiful thrift stores, our art gallery, my new friends, my old friends, technology, a bridge over ocean.

• my house plants, clocks that tick time away, chatting with you, when stars aligned permit it.
